Norlan Graves is a new generation of leadership for Halifax County courts. He has the background, experience, and temperament we need on the Superior Court bench.
As a former prosecutor and Special Deputy Attorney General, Norlan knows the law, he knows the critical role an impartial judge plays in being fair and responsive to all people before the court.
Just as important, Norlan knows a judge must treat all people in court with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Appointed by Governor Roy Cooper, Norlan Graves is a new judge and
a new voice for our courts. He brings a wealth of experience to the bench.
He knows the important role our judges play in a free, fair and
independent court system.
